Type:	STAIRS HOLLOW SEGMENT
Product info:	The STEP HOHL SEGMENT is especially suitable for covering spiral steps where only the thickness of the parquet material (approx. 15 to 20mm) has been taken into account and there is no wall on the side to act as a border, as this Typ can be used to create compact and functional solutions for side borders (normal stair nosing profiles with borders cannot be used in this case). The step is custom-made for you from your original parquet floor. Your parquet flooring and your staircase are thus optimally matched to each other, as the colour tone, grading and surface harmonise perfectly. For the production of segment steps, we require exact measurements or, ideally, natural measurement templates!
Format:	approx. 45x390x1100/1500/1800mm (5% dimensional tolerance) Standard depth 390mm, special depths possible on request at extra cost. Side finishes selectable.
Construction:	Step manufactured from original parquet material. The visual effect corresponds to a normal 45mm step, but the material structure only corresponds to the thickness of the parquet material. The soffit of the step is covered at the front edge, as well as the lateral soffit and rear edge over 22mm when producing ends. The edges of the stair profile are slightly rounded and re-oiled or re-varnished. Slight differences in the gloss level of re-oiled or re-varnished areas are possible.
Side finish:	Side finishes made of original parquet material can be selected at an extra charge.
Order unit:	1 piece
Installation:	Stair treads are made of original parquet material, therefore the care guidelines of the respective parquet manufacturer must be observed.
Room climate:	With regard to the room climate, the same guidelines apply for all original stair nosing profiles, stair treads and skirting boards as for finished parquet. Ensure a uniform relative humidity of approx. 50-60%. To ensure that the air humidity does not fall significantly below this level during the heating period, humidifiers should be used.
Price:	The production of this article at the prices listed is only possible from 3-layer finished parquet with a minimum material thickness of 13.5 mm. Production from parquet material with a lower material thickness, for example from 10mm 2-layer prefabricated parquet, is only feasible on request and for an additional charge due to the extra work involved. The price per element depends on the length of the step and the price of the parquet floor from which the steps are made.
